A new small school but with twenty years’ experience of teaching English to speakers of other languages, the school is able to meet the needs and requirements of all students, and because our class sizes are so small, usually just 2 or 3 students, they are more like semi-private classes but at a very low price.

We have taught at all levels from complete beginner to advanced. Our advanced students have included employees at some of the most famous companies in the world, such as Goldman Sachs and McKinsey; and students at the prestigious Tokyo University.

From beginner to advanced speakers we have the classes for you. We carefully monitor each student’s progress throughout their time with us. We are in the centre of the famous Northern Quarter, just a minute away from Piccadilly Gardens and all its transport links.

We have the experience to quickly understand what each student needs and how to deliver it. We offer a very friendly and relaxed environment, perfect for learning a language.

General English

General English

Our General English classes are from 8:30am – 11:30am. Unlike many other schools our maximum number of students per class is ONLY 8, so you’ll be sure that the teacher can carefully monitor your progress or soon notice where you’re struggling. Teacher feedback is regularly given to make sure the student can monitor their progress.

We believe that it is important for students to develop all four skills areas (listening, speaking, reading and writing) consecutively, so our materials and teaching methods reflect this. We use stimulating activities and interesting subjects to ensure all students improve at a quick pace.

Though the school does not offer specific IELTS, CAE or FCE courses, as our lessons focus on all four skills areas, the same as the exams, it is felt that they provide a good preparation for students wishing to take the tests. Supplementary activities are given to those students wanting to combine IELTS, FCE or CAE preparation with our General English classes.
