About the Business
Harrogate School of English is a community language school providing affordable English language classes for adults. The not-for-profit organisation provides free language lessons to refugees and asylum seekers living in the Harrogate area.
Harrogate School of English also organises regular free events, such as Tea and Talk, that give learners a chance to practice their spoken English.

English Classes
English classes take place at the new Harrogate High School . New learners can join any time.
- Beginners: Wednesdays: 6 - 7.15pm.
- Intermediate: Wednesdays: 7.30 - 8.45pm.
Essential English
Harrogate School of English provides free language support to refugees and asylum seekers through its Essential English programme.
Essential English takes place every Thursday between 10am and 12 noon at Harrogate Library.
Funding for travel to classes may be available.
