About the Business
As a successful Guildford teacher with a career spanning 30 years of primary, secondary and tertiary education Mark Norris is well known to Surrey parents and pupils for his professional expertise and his dedication to coaching students for examination success.
After modern language studies at Brasenose College Oxford and King's College London followed by a Postgraduate Certificate of Education at Exeter University Mark taught French, German and religious education in maintained and private schools, including as a head of department at Wellington College, Downside School and Cranmore School.
Moving to Poland in the 1990s to set up and run a thriving languages school, Mark trained students of the Jagiellonian University and the personnel of firms such as Hewlett Packard, Theodore Goddard and Bank Handlowy Warszawa. He subsequently settled back in Surrey with his wife and young family and founded Guildford Tuition, a specialist teaching centre based on the principles of his learning system.
