Anglolang is an international English language school that was established in 1985 in the historical tourist resort of Scarborough on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. The school is located just 15 minutes' walk from the beach and most accommodation. It offers a traditional British location for study and convenient access to the main cities of England and Scotland.

Anglolang's English courses develop the skills needed to communicate in English with confidence. We offer a wide range of year-round courses for adults, including teacher training, IELTS preparation and Professional English. We offer courses for families and younger students during the Summer.

We take great care when selecting your accommodation and can arrange for you to stay with an English family, in a guest house, hotel or self-catering accommodation.

Anglolang has been offering Intensive English courses since 1986. As English continues to still be the most international language around the globe, every year an increasing number of people are choosing to learn English by joining an intensive English program.

If you choose an Intensive English course at Anglolang you will benefit from our communicative English lessons in multinational groups with a native-English experienced teacher.

All intensive English courses offer topic-based English lessons. Weekly topics are chosen in consultation with the students on the intensive English course as part of Anglolang’s ‘negotiated syllabus’ . We use innovative and interactive teaching materials to help you to learn English quickly. For example, the topic-based intensive English language classes are taught using interactive whiteboards, up-to-date authentic resources from the Internet, such as You Tube videos, as well as digital English language course books.

You can choose an intensive English course which offers the number of hours that best suits your needs, from 20 to 35 hours.
